I chose this profession because nutrition is a powerful tool. But as much as it can give us wings, it can also make us experience hell.  After working all these years counseling people of all ages and experiencing every possible dietary challenge, I realized how late we realize how much we could have done to avoid suffering and illness. ​

Our society has a twisted concept of health. On the one hand we are made to feel guilty for not changing our habits, and on the other hand, we are given no confidence in our own power over our future health. While it is quite the opposite: we hold the keys to our health deep within our cells. These cells often even send us messages, but we don't listen to them! ​ ​I admit it, I have always thought outside the box. From the start of my career, with my book Adieu Régime Bonjour la Vie, I was a pioneer. I was already swimming against the tide by being the first nutritionist to write in black and white why diets are part of the problem, not the solution. At that time, we were taught to correct menus with a red pencil!  Which I never agreed to do. Each of my 6 books were written with the aim of helping people trust themselves and reclaim their health, something I myself had to learn to do, the hard way, during a heavy battle of 10 years before finding myself in remission from a condition from which there is supposedly no cure.  ​ If I had had access at the time to the information that I can provide to my clients today, I am certain that I could have prevented the discomfort that I tried to ignore from degenerating into confirmed diagnosis. I won my fight to allow others to never find themselves in the arena! ​

 

By choice, I left my professional order so that I could not follow official positions on health, but be a leader who liberalizes a technology that should not be reserved for the elite, but offered to all of you and popularized into concrete solutions adapted to your reality.
